The CDA annual inspection at SDCC was conducted by the Cooperative Development Authority through its authorized representatives on November 6, 2025, at San Dionisio Credit Cooperative (SDCC), in accordance with Memorandum Circular 2012-02.
The inspection was carried out by CDA inspectors Mr. Bonifacio T. Escamis and Ms. Ludi Vi C. Manaog, who evaluated SDCC’s compliance with regulatory requirements, operational standards, and governance practices. The activity forms part of the CDA’s regular supervisory functions to ensure that cooperatives operate in a safe, sound, and sustainable manner.
The Cooperative Development Authority adopts the examination and inspection of cooperatives as a vital mechanism to directly fulfill its mandate of strengthening the cooperative sector. Through these inspections, CDA is able to assess financial health, internal controls, recordkeeping, and adherence to cooperative principles, while also identifying areas for improvement and capacity building.
For San Dionisio Credit Cooperative, the inspection served as an opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance. SDCC recognizes the importance of regulatory oversight in maintaining members’ trust and ensuring that cooperative operations align with national policies and standards set by the CDA.
Regular inspections such as the CDA annual inspection at SDCC contribute to the long-term stability of cooperatives by promoting best practices, risk awareness, and continuous improvement. These efforts support the cooperative movement’s role in advancing inclusive growth, financial empowerment, and community development.
SDCC remains committed to complying with all regulatory requirements and to continuously improving its services for the benefit of its members and the community it serves.
