Sa panahon ngayon, mahirap sa tao ang maging malusog, lalo pa sa buong pamilya. Masyadong mahal ang kalusugan. Pero may paraan na, ayon sa patunay ng maraming kasapi ng San Dionisio Credit Cooperative (SDCC) na sumali sa Coop Health Program ng IMS Wellth Care, Inc. (IWC). Ginamit ng mga kasaping ito ang serbisyo ng IWC Clinic para maagapan o malunasan ang mga sakit. Lumalabas na mahigit P100 lang kada buwan, sakop na ang alaga ng buong pamilya. “Libre-konsulta kaming lahat, kaya nga ang mga anak ko, kaunting sipon lamang dinadala ko na sa Clinic,” sinabi ni Rodelia Lumogdang. Wala ring bayad ang laboratory tests ng mga miyembro ng Coop Health, at may diskwentong 10% ang pamilya nila. Para siyang “family health manager” – tagapamahala ng kalusugan ng pamilya, ayon kay Ms. Regina Orcullo. Ang kailangan lang talaga ay magpunta sa IWC Clinic at gamitin ang mga serbisyong handog nito sa mga miyembro ng Coop Health Program.

This program started July of 2008. There are numerous IWC clinics in Metro Manila and across the nation such as in Parañaque, Muntinlupa, Makati, Manila, Ligas (Bulacan), at Davao City. Watch for the opening of the IWC Clinic in Ugong (Pasig City), Quezon City, Basud (Camarines Norte), Bislig (Surigao), at San Jose Del Monte Bulacan). This is part of our health care reform. We provide our members access to quality healthcare across the nation. Many hospitals and doctors are in our networks.

IWC attends also to its social obligations and other services to all SDCC members such as attendance to medical missions of the cooperative in celebration of the Cooperative Month, Cooperative Anniversary, Coop Annual General Election, Operation “tuli” every Summer, Pamaskong Handog of free consultation for coop health care members dependents’ regardless of age, monthly free cholesterol and FBS screening and free derma consultation in cooperation with Dr. Aileen Cabasag, M.D., Philippine Association of Primary Skin Health Physician Inc. and World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine member (Clinical and Cosmetic Dermatologist).
