SDCC Chairperson explaining Community eCenter (CEC) 5 Units of CPU (System Unit) received by Dr.Garibaldi O.Leonardo (Chairperson) & CEO, Cielito L. Garrido, of SDCC.

In line with the SDCC's new project, Community eCenter (CeC) SDCC Chairperson, Dr. Garibaldi O. Leonardo and Ms. Cielito L. Garrido, CEO, presented the concept of CeC to the Rotary Club of Parañaque - St. Andrew's Chapter during it's meeting held on November 7, 2013 at Chowking Kabihasnan, Parañaque City.

CeC is a self sustaining shared facility that provides affordable access to ICT-Enabled Services. The target beneficiaries are out of school youth and adults, high school graduates, college students, general public and seamen.

The following are the services to be offered:

  1. Education

  2. Skills Training

  3. Learning English Application for Pinoys (LEAP)

  4. Government eServices

  5. RCPSA Services

This will open up opportunities to re-enter college/university, formal school system and most specially learn essential life skills to participate more fully and actively in the political, social and economic lives in the community.

In support to the project, the Rotary Club of Parañaque - St. Andrew's Chapter donated 5 units of CPU's (System Unit). They have supported the concept and this would mean better opportunities to Parañaqueños and coop members within the San Dionisio Credit Cooperative's main sphere of operation.

SDCC would like to thank the Rotary Club of Parañaque - St. Andrew's Chapter for the support given to the project. More Power and Mabuhay!!
